Special ‘Sang Har Meen’
We bought a pack of prawns from the supermart yesterday….just 4 pathetic medium sized prawns which cost us £1.50, so about RM2.50 per piece (still can’t help doing the mental conversion in RM). Anyway, the prawns better be good man. We hardly buy seafood here due to the lack of freshness and taste. Wanted to cook prawn mee but it was just too much hassle and we do not have the ingredients for chilli. Hence, settled for ‘Sang Har Meen’ (Fresh Water Prawns Noodles) instead. The usual ingredients would be Wan Tan Mee and prawns stock but I replaced those with spaghetti and pork stock respectively. It turned out that the noodles and gravy are tastier than the prawns duh! Will try it with the proper Wan Tan Mee next time. - mel.

Wah… you can really cook!! Nice!
