Oriental Cravings + Side Events

I was craving for roasted duck for the past 2 weeks. Finally, we made a trip to China Town on Saturday and ordered the routine dishes - ’siew yuk’ (roasted pork), tofu and of course the roasted duck (and also the side dish - chilli oil). Even managed to take-away some ‘lou poh peng’ (pastries) for tea. YUMMMM Satisfied at last! After lunch, we headed for the summer sales (not as good as the winter sales) at Oxford Street and witnessed this Christian parade along the way. Don’t really know what’s the specific agenda though.
On our way home, we came across this amazing hand-painted artwork on the floor tiles near the London Eye. The artist was putting on the finishing touches on the 6-weeks work. Such sight is common in London and the fine talents of the respective "homeless artists" are pretty remarkable. I’m sure they will be successful and not remain homeless if their work were to be commercialised - mel.

nice paint jobs!
