Building Temperature
Yesterday I was so thankful that my office has air conditioning. But today, I received a communication stating that the air conditioning system is designed to cope with external air temperatures of up to 28 degrees C. On the few occasions when it exceeds this temperature the system has trouble coping. huh? HELLLLPPPPP!!!! Staffs are asked to close blinds to minimise heat gain. I hope it will only last for a few weeks (that’s the norm) but it’s unpredictable due to global warming. Weather throughout the world is changing. Developed countries are the main ones contributing to this dilemma and they are also the ones who are trying to save the world. We are constantly being educated to conserve energy in households, use the public transportation in order to reduce vehicles on the road so that pollution and congestion can be mitigated and oil companies constantly researching and producing greener oil products. If everyone in the affected country has the same mentality, it might alleviate the ailing mother earth. Was looking forward towards improvement of public transportation in KL (after all the promises and assurance) but with the current "heated arguments" between the leaders, don’t think plans will progress as quickly as expected - mel.
