Heat Wave

Yes I pronounce myself a genuine Malaysian but I can declare it’s heat wave here in England. Though we’ve not gone through the hottest days of summer yet but it’s hot enough to kill my head! Since Sat, I’ve been suffering from endless headaches due to the stuffiness, low humidity, still air, heat in the 26-30 degrees..I’m gonna go on complaining. This is worse than KL during CNY (which I think is the hottest period of the year) and almost like Arizona the dessert, though not as bad. I used to think that those who claimed Europe to suffer heat wave were being ironic but not until I’m experiencing it myself. The effect of 30 degrees is worse than KL as it is dry here. The sun is constantly burning my skin…OUCH!!!! This weather is insane and my head is still being hammered. The sun is up from 5am to 9.30 pm this whole summer and I’m trying to avoid it as much as possible. If you intend to tour Europe, I would recommend late Spring early Summer (Apr-June) to make the best of the daytime or Dec-Mar to experience a proper Winter. Summer here would be like any other country in Asia, unless you really like the heat. Most of the offices and homes here do not have fans or air-conds installed…luckily our offices do have air-conditioning. At home, we’ve put our "buatan Malaysia" table fan into good use. Yes we shipped it all the way from KL…free shipping mah. No regrets, it is our life saver - mel.

Go dip your head in the water!! Quickly! ;p
Can imagine the hot sun, the heat, and to top it off, the long hour of sun! must be tough!
Strange enough, this year’s CNY in KL was rainy, not sure what’s wrong with the weather. Global Warming, I supposed…
