kheeheng stayed overnight at my flat on Friday and caught a night flight home yesterday… many ppl would be surprised, me too cause he hasn’t even visited my usj house the last time. Sometimes I do admit that I tend to meet more friends in UK than in KL when they happen to be here… It all started few months back when I received an email from KH asking me about places of interest in UK. He was planning for a month expedition in Europe where UK would be his last stop. So we exchanged a few emails and of course I did mention that if he wanted to sleepover, that’s fine with me. Things went really quiet after that, I mean really quiet in the sense that no further emails to confirm anything, no phone call or sms/pigeon or anything and I didn’t even know that he departed for his trip also !! well that didn’t bother me as I was freaking busy with my driving test and parents’ visit. Then out of the blue on a Thursday night while driving back from Preston, I got a phone call from him! It happened so sudden and I wasn’t prepared to take a malaysian call haha. So I did pause a bit to answer him. He was rather straight to the point asking me about sleepover, haha no Helo, how r u type. Anyway he was lucky that my Preston work didn’t get extended. BTW, the call was really short, I suspect he used only 20p to make that call as I sensed that he was in a marathon chasing after the call minutes. OK then on Friday I received his call again. And I picked him up from the train station. No sweat but we did spend a few minutes walking around town trying to buy milk and bread. I didn’t stock them cause I was on special cleansing .. details later. As usual la. He looks the same and still skinny (I know i am skinny too). and he still talks like old time… Fastt… We talked about the usual things, KL condition, his job, company, his trip, his MONEY (yes he can talk all night about this), his gf (aiya, mai kong la) It was fun to catch up to be honest. And sometimes in Hokkien .. Ho LIAO !! BTW, word of caution ! if KH ever take shower in your house, remember to remind him about the existence of shower curtain (if u use one), otherwise it can be easily ignored and you will be in tears looking at the aftermath HAHAHAHa Below, KH and me and his sack for the night.
